MARK JOHNSON

Mark is the founding member of the Silver Factory Superstars. The band was created in 1994 under the name Alexandra Cry and only served as an output for Marks musical frustrations.

In 2001 the band changed its name to Cortina (with the introduction of Stephen) but MJ was then forced to change the name due to legal problems, thus becoming Silver Factory Superstars.

Through the years MJ has worked & collaborated with a wealth of musicians including Steafan Hannigan (Depeche Mode circa 92), John Tams (Albion band, Home Service) and Mat Clifford (Rolling Stones).

STEPHEN LOYNDS

Joining in 2001, longtime friend and film maker Stephen Loynds became the bands visual director, providing Silver Factory Superstars with live projections and visuals in collaboration with MJ.

Having worked together on other projects over the last few years, including the films 'Dusted' and 'Hands & faces'  plus the promo video for Slapper's 'Boy in a girls shop', it was only natural SL became part of the band. Stephen is also a co owner of Pullfocus Media.

MARK LILLEY

Mark Lilley met MJ in the summer of 91 and by the end of the year were both part of ML's band 'Novel'.

Over the years their musical collaborations have spanned over five different bands and numerous production skills on a variety of music for other people.

Now in his own band ML still writes and performs with Silver Factory Superstars but due to a heavy schedule with his own projects this is becoming less and less.
